How to use AI chat in sidebar
Chat with AI in sidebar
First, open the sidebar using a shortcut(⌘J or Alt+J) or by clicking the quick access button. In the pop-up sidebar window, you can delve into any topic with MaxAI effortlessly.

Select the AI models you wish to use.

Enter your question in the text box below.

Press Enter/ Click the send button.

And wait for the AI response from MaxAI.
This feature acts as your personal AI assistant, ready to engage in real-time conversations with the most advanced AI models. Whether you need factual information, troubleshooting help, or simply wish to explore a topic, the Chat function is ready to provide accurate, conversational responses. It’s like having a knowledgeable companion by your side, available at the click of a button.
Select language
Choose your preferred language before talking to AI. MaxAI supports 58 languages. The language you use to ask questions affects the responses.
Chat history
You can find the chat history button below the text box in the sidebar. Click it to view your chat history and return to a previous conversation by selecting one of the records.
Download conversation
After you’ve finished chatting with AI chat, you can use the buttons at the top to either download your conversation.
How to use AI chat in immersive chat
MaxAI offers a full page mode for chatting on a larger screen. This mode includes all the functionalities of the sidebar, providing increased visibility and enhanced multitasking capabilities.
Chat with AI in immersive chat
You can enter immersive chat mode by accessing the sidebar and clicking the immersive chat button located in the bottom right corner. There are three tabs on the left, choose the first one to enter immersive chat mode.
You can also enter immersive chat mode through quick access: Hover your mouse over the MaxAI icon on the right side of the screen to find the immersive chat button above the setting button. There are three tabs on the left, choose the first one to enter immersive chat mode.
